The 16th Annual Business Law Conference is a Hybrid conference (physical and virtual) that will take place on 20th- 22nd July, 2022, physically at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja and, virtually via Whova and Zoom platforms.
  • Virtual attendance would be via the Whova Platform.
  • Virtual interactions will be done primarily via the Whova App. You can create and have conversations through various discussion topics in the Community Board.
  • Search and directly message any registered attendee on the Whova App.
Yes. You can view topics, scheduled times and speakers for every session.
Plenary sessions are general conference sessions for all attendees.
Break-out sessions are conference sessions that run concurrently and participants may not be able to attend and focus on more than one session.
Physical attendance is limited. Potentially, about 300 paid delegates are allowed to register.
In the Agenda section of the Whova App and programs mailed to registered delegates.
Each live-streamed session will have a dedicated on-site session moderator who will relay your content-related questions and comments to the presenter(s) and the on-site audience. The session moderator will introduce herself/himself to the virtual audience at the beginning of the session. If you have a question or comment, write it in the Q & A section.
The conference is holding in Lagos, Nigeria and the sessions streamed live will follow the Greenwich Time Zone +1 (GMT+1).

Yes, all of the recorded sessions will be available for viewing 24 hours after the live-streamed presentation. They will be available for up to one year post-conference on the website.

The NBA Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NBA-ICLE) will issue certificates to delegates and award points in line with the Mandatory Continuous Legal Education, subject to completion of the ICLE Forms to be sent to delegates. Acceptance of the completed form for processing by the NBA-ICLE is subject to active participation at the conference. Yes, there will be a virtual exhibition hall that allows attendees to visit exhibitor booths, participate in product demos, interact one-on-one with the exhibitor representatives, receive item giveaways, and be eligible for any exhibitor prizes!
  • The Web app link has been mailed out for the event to registered delegates and they can open the link.
  • Click “Sign up” if you don’t have an account yet, or sign in by filling in your email and password.
  • Please make sure to use the email you signed up for the event, otherwise it will not allow you to join the event
  • The app will automatically take you to the event main page.
If you are experiencing technical difficulty with the live streaming service, please know that it is still being recorded. If the streaming service is not back after a couple of minutes, we recommend switching to join a different session and watch the recording of the interrupted session at another time. Recordings will be available on the conference website within 24 hours of the end of the session and you will have access to them for up to one year.
  • Click the “Attendees” tab on the bottom of the screen to view the attendee list.
  • At the top of the page, you can navigate the attendee list and search for specific attendees by keywords such as company name or title. In their professional profiles, you can take notes or request contact information.
  • You can interact by using the “Say Hi” option with one click or start a private chat by clicking the Message button. You can convert it to a private group chat by inviting more people.
You can connect from a computer using any browser (Google Chrome browser is most compatible).
The recordings of sessions will be made available after the event on the conference website and on the NBA-SBL Youtube channel.
