Innovation Hub Challenge

The Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) is currently requesting for Expression of Interest from tech innovators who have designed or are in the process of designing solution-driven apps as part of our annual conference in a session tagged “Innovation Hub Challenge”.

As startups use technology to shape the way we live, work, and learn, they are taking on challenges in all critical sectors of the economy. The NBA-SBL recognizes the need to support innovators and entrepreneurs in the quest to develop technological solutions that have the potential to accelerate economic and social growth in our emerging digital economy.

 The Plan

The NBA-SBL Innovation Hub is being held as a two-part process. Part I involves invites to interested innovators to signify their interest by sending a short email describing the technology solution they intend to provide, followed by a closed-door review by a panel of assessors. Part II will take place as a Session (or on the sidelines) of the International Business Law Conference on 14-15 July 2021 where shortlisted innovators will be provided the opportunity to showcase their solutions.

The Requirement

The NBA-SBL Innovation Hub Challenge aims to advance the development of promising and innovative technologies in Finance, Legal, Health, Agriculture, Retail, Manufacturing and other sectors. Solutions will be shortlisted using a number of criteria including:

  1. Creativity & Impact
  2. Technical Feasibility & User Experience
  3. Business Viability & Overall Quality
  4. Team-work & collaborations.

The NBA-SBL Invites innovators and entrepreneurs from across Nigeria to submit an application to present their technological solutions. These technological solutions must be able to generate social and economic value for a digital society.

  1. Company profile/name of developer
  2. Name of Solution
  3. Brief description of Solution
