Reginald is the Managing Partner of Aluko & Oyebode (the “Firm”). In this role, he manages the day-to-day operations of the Firm and helps achieve the Firm’s objectives by focusing on the needs of its people and their efforts in serving clients. He is also a member of the Firm’s Banking & Finance team where he focusses on Energy, Finance & Infrastructure and has over 19 years’ experience advising sponsors, lenders, issuers, underwriters and borrowers in a number of projects involving LNG plants, oil and gas assets, real estate, telecommunications infrastructure, cement plants and steel mills.
He joined the Firm in 2007 as an Associate, became a Senior Associate in 2008, and was admitted to the Firm’s Partnership effective January 2011. He was appointed Managing Partner of the Firm effective January 2021.
Reginald attended the University of Lagos (LL.B) and University College London (LL.M). He was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2002.
He is consistently ranked by Chambers Global and IFLR 1000 (The Guide to the World’s Leading Financial Law Firms) as a Leading Lawyer. Who’s Who Legal ranked him as Most Highly Recommended in Banking in 2021 and as Global Leader in Banking & Finance in 2022.
