Oyinkansola Fawehinmi better known as Foza is a creative sector lawyer and industrialist. Her company helps tens of thousands of African creatives achieve positive cash flows through intellectual property management.

Until her resignation in January 2023, Fawehinmi served as DMCE’s chief executive officer and was responsible for the company’s expansion to other West and East African markets including Ghana and Kenya. She also played a key role in securing the DMCE x chordCash partnership that led to the founding of Orin Fund, an e-commerce marketplace offering a wide range of financing solutions to artists all over Africa.
Specialising in music and entertainment law, Foza Fawehinmi takes advantage of her 10-year practice and business acumen to score unexpected wins for both upcoming and established artists under her watch, brokering deals worth $5,000,000 through valuation tactics, marketing advances and new market exploration.
Before co-founding DMCE, Foza was managing partner at Lagos law firm, Technolawgical Partners, a position she held for five years until 2020.
Prior to her time at Technolawgical Partners, she served as CEO of Incubation Factory Entertainment Limited for another five years and was an executive producer of three albums.
Over the years, Foza’s strengths and accomplishments as a music business executive and entertainment lawyer have earned her critical acclaim from her peers, bagging notable awards and enjoying speaking invitations in the process.
In 2022, Foza Fawehinmi won the Future Awards Africa “Prize for Lawyer”. She won the 2021 “Young Professional of the Year” award at the Esq. Awards ceremony. She is also a two-time honouree on the Turntable Powerlist.
Foza Fawehinmi is an MBA candidate at Quantic School of Business and Technology. She is also the author of the memoir “So Far So Foza”.
