Amara Inegbenoise
Amara is the Principal Consultant/Founder, NOISE & BLUE ADR firm, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She is a very vibrant legal practitioner setting new standards and patterns in ADR practice in Rivers State and beyond.
Amara is the Director Arbitrations – Intercede Centre for Arbitration and Mediation, Port Harcourt; Member – Panel of Neutrals, Rivers State Multi-Door Courthouse and a Member – Neutrals Panel, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Lagos Court of Arbitration (LCA) Expedited ADR Scheme for MSMEs.
In her 16 years post-call period, Amara has worked and volunteered in diverse sectors, both in Nigeria and Qatar gaining knowledge and experience in the insurance, security, sports, fashion/beauty and energy sectors.
Amara is a CEDR (UK) Accredited Mediator who has acted as Counsel, Mediator and Co-mediator in various commercial, community and family disputes; a certified Arbitrator with valuable experience in commercial arbitration drawn from her roles as sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator, tribunal registrar and arbitration transcriptionist. She is a very active member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIARB) UK and a serving member of the Executive Committee of the Port Harcourt Chapter, Nigeria Branch of the Institute.
She is a serving member on the Executive committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Omoku Branch; an active member of the International Chamber of Commerce Nigeria (ICCN) – Arbitration & ADR Commission, International Association of Lawyers (Union International Des Avocats), International Council for Commercial Arbitration (Young ICCA), British Nigeria Law Forum, Chartered Institute of
