She has over 20 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry which cuts across negotiating multi-million dollar commercial transactions, managing complex litigation, Mergers and Acquisition, legislative, regulatory, compliance, project finance/alternative funding, gas value chain issues, gas sales and purchase agreements, gas transportation and transmission agreements, Production Sharing Contracts operations and governance, Joint Venture Operations and governance and key stakeholder management.
Resilient, analytical and a thought leader; Tola is a consummate oil and gas professional with an in-depth understanding of diverse legal and commercial issues affecting the industry, strategic business value drivers, risk management and developing pragmatic options to deliver business solutions in the upstream Oil and Gas industry.
In the last decade, she has been actively involved in the development of the Petroleum Industry Act from the Industry perspective through the Oil Producers Trade Section of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce (OPTS). Tola is a graduate of the University of Lagos and holds a masters degree from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. Tola is a movie enthusiast with an extensive almost encyclopedic recall of movies, old, new and avant-garde. Music, reading and travelling the globe are her passions.
